I'll be honest with you guys, my reading schedule is jammed lately and I have only finished The Army Doctor's Baby and half of The Army Doctor's Wedding at this point. But, its enough for me to recommend this series. Scott Taylor has a distinct style, writing sweet romances featuring military heroes. She does not shy away from getting into the gritty parts of being involved with military personnel. Her heroes are strong, sexy, reliable (though Cameron is not so likable in Book One).
These novellas are perfect for anyone looking to indulge in the sweeter side of the romance genre. They focus on romance, on falling in love and not so much on the super sexy scenes that seem to dominate the shelves these days. Honestly, I found this refreshing. It was a nice change of pace from what I typically read each week.
I also like that the each book is a separate novella. They build upon one another, feature overlapping characters and plot points, however each book functions as its own bite-size piece. Some people do not like the novella format, but I'm a fan. Sometimes, you just need a small treat. Scott Taylor definitely delivers. Anyone looking for a feel-good, sweet take on romance needs to add this boxed set to their reading list.
