On Addicted to Ansley + GIVEAWAY

Today, I am teaming up with my friends at Tasty Book Tours to bring you the beautiful, contemporary romance Addicted to Ansley by Linda Kage.

For seventeen years, Ansley has tried to forget about Ward, though she sees him every time she looks at Brooklyn, their daughter. The one time Ansley rebelled left her fifteen, alone and pregnant. The same incident left Ward in jail and determined to kick his drug habit for good.

Today, Ward is clean and sober, teaching and counseling teen addicts. A chance encounter brings him face to face with Brooklyn, the daughter he wasn't sure existed. Meeting Brooklyn makes him realize that he has been working his whole adulthood to prove himself worthy of Brooklyn...and Ansley's love.

Ansley has grown up to be a kind, careful adult, content to toe the line and do what is expected. When Ward reenters her life she cannot deny the sparks flying between them, not can she deny Brooklyn's request to know her father. Can they overcome past pain and current stigma to become a family?

Addicted to Ansley was beautiful and hauntingly emotional. Kage captured the rollercoaster of emotions that would accompany such tragic circumstances. I loved that Ansley, Ward and Brooklyn were flawed, damaged by their collective past.

The love that blossoms between the family is authentic and as we uncover more secrets from the past, the audience more easily believes the undeniable love growing between Ansley and Ward. Kage captures the spirit of puppy love in a very grown up seeing. It grows and blossoms in a way that feels organic. It feels like Kage captured a real-life love story, with all its bumps and bruises.
